Summertime....
So it's a beautiful day out, finally, and I'm stuck here at work! Luckly in less than 30 minutes I'll be sitting in the chair with my wonderful husband and we'll be driving to Portland to go to the doctors! fun fun oh yeah, luckly it's not me it's him... he's sick and being a baby and wants to get checked out. I'm not like that, I have a cough, it's not bad... well it's not constant, lots of congestion in my chest but nothing that is killing me. If it's bronchitis I'll get checked too just incase, but seriously I've never been sick. Not like that, I get colds, I get sick but not anything serious that needs a doctors visit. This past cold was horrible, I had everything you can have with a cold, totally sucked and I worked everyday through most of it... i am such a greedy bastard! LOL I would rather just come to work and do what I can and get paid rather than taking a day off and loosing my overtime pay for the week! ha ha ha
Last weekend my friend Kelly and I went up to Manchester, NH for a scrapbooking convention. We had so much fun and I loved most of my classes, didn't like a couple teachers so it kinda erked me but for the most part totally fun! Plus I got to see a few people I met at CKU-A last year! Saw a couple dormmates and some other wonderful women I met during the weekend! Got some AWESOME deals at the vendor faire! Li'L Davis $1 booth, every for a buck and I got 3 packs of positive/neg chip board letters! woohoo! awesome I was dancing at that deal!
Other than that not to much going on, working and cleaning at home, we're painting the dinning room and upstairs hallway this weekend... I'm really hoping to get the bedroom done before they all come home but I don't see that happening... after the dinning room we got the living room and bedroom left!!!! well that's if we don't paint the office, which I don't think we will... that means we need to move Zues out of there for at least a week or two while the paint fumes go away and well that means Maggie will be jumping into his tank constantly AND then we'd have to AC the whole downstairs which I believe is a waste of freaking money and refuse to do it! So we'll leave the office as is... the walls are probably the cleanest in the entire house.

Sounds like you had a blast at the scrapbooking convention!!I haven't been to a 'sleep-away' convention or crop yet but it sounds really fun! (though I did do a sleep-away design team retreat last year)
